This portfolio is a showcase of the professional writing assignments I have been given as a student in the Certificate of Professional Writing program at Northern Virginia Community College. It contains artifacts that, as assignments, were sometimes based on hypothetical or created data. It is in no way meant to display an actual work history and is simply a learning portfolio being kept by this student. As this portfolio continues to develop in the future, its function will eventually change into that of an evaluation portfolio.

As a learning portfolio, this site will undergo gradual change as I add new documents and continually revise others. The artifacts currently here are a good representation of the writing courses that comprise the Certificate of Professional Writing for Business, Government, and Industry. They include the following:

The photography on this portfolio are shots of historic sites such as Old Vestal’s Gap Road in Sterling, the Lanesville Ordinary located on the road, and the Wren Building of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg.
